Who I am
Dr. Ignacio Puche Sanz
I am a doctor specializing in Urology. I have more than 15 years of clinical and surgical experience and extensive training in different areas of the specialty. My activity focuses mainly on Uro-Oncology (prostate, bladder, kidney and penis cancer) and Reconstructive Urology (urethral stricture, urinary fistulas, Peyronie’s disease, incontinence devices and penile prostheses).
Since I was little, my father awakened in me a vocation oriented toward medicine. However, it was not until I finished college that I discovered the specialty of Urology during a training stay in Granada. There are those who are fans of soccer, tennis or golf; and there are also lovers of history, the sea or literature. Well, I can say without fear of being wrong that my hobby, my passion and my vital stimulus is UROLOGY.

Born and raised in Almería. He completed his studies and MIR training program in Urology at the Virgen de las Nieves University Hospital in Granada. He has held the title of Fellow of the European Board of Urology (FEBU) since 2016.
Prostate cancer is one of the most common types of cancer among men and as a specialist urologist I am dedicated to the research, treatment and care of patients with this condition.
I use diagnostic tests such as biopsies, flowmetry or advanced imaging technologies to offer an optimal diagnosis. Cornerstone for choosing the best treatment.
I apply state-of-the-art medical and surgical therapies and advanced medicine to provide personalized treatments according to the needs of each patient.
